One last trip into space for our intrepid cosmic explorers before they return to the woods to brew up some new hallucinations from the forest flora.
'Arrivals & Departures' features songs audiences have heard at live gigs over the past few years but hadn't yet been committed to tape. From the blistering space sludge of "Jupiter" to the wizard rock of "Mother's Eyes" and the kosmische hard-rock of "Arrival", it's a worthy send off. Side two of the cassette features a full 16-minute freak-out live version of the aforementioned "Jupiter".
After this release, Moonwood plan to return to their acid-folk roots. The tracks "I Carried You" and "Apologies" may (or may not) be an indicator of sounds to come.

Shimmering drones and angular melody lines dance and collapse against hazy ambiance and fractured glass surfaces; ecstatic meditations give way to deep noir melancholy and fiery avant expressionism. Arachnidiscs
"...a real feeling of exploration .... Some are busy with bells. Some are barely there...a very soft, spiritual atmosphere that should be your next soundtrack for falling asleep into lucid dreaming." Arachnidiscs
