Once upon a time we wasted our lives away, searching the dark for distractions from other’s lives, and in those moments we thought we had it, but just got more hungry and repeated it, only to wonder what’s the point during our end credit sunsets. You changed, things broke. I guess I messed up. Sometimes I blame you, when really I should have known better – but that emptiness is so hard to take. And while I’m trying so hard to get by without you, you’re really gone this time aren’t you? I waited too long. Other people said it louder than me. Remember the drive-in theatre with the sun going down on that rusty station wagon, sleeping bags in the back for the second feature – what happened? Safe to say I don’t know nothing still, if not more than ever. All tracks recorded in that cluttered room from 2014-17. Thanks to: the silence.
